After a long series of personal projects created out of one piece here's something different for a change. This model consists of 5 different parts, which are combined to create a papercraft scene. There's a couple more scenes I have in mind, so expect a couple more like these in the near future. Go to the 'free toys' page or simply download the model here.

Here's another 'leftover' from a bunch of concept sketches I did while I was designing two creatures for a paper monster book that is coming out this year. It's a fairly simple template, I even did some researching on the net to make sure it wasn't done like this before and I think I'm safe :)
I'm currently really enjoying going back to the most basic shapes to define a model. Especially after I experimented with this complex 11-part model last month that turned into a total disaster. I'm still planning to do some bigger models but I have to make sure I use the same approach as with my smaller models.

I promised to try release a free model once in a while inbetween my commercial projects, so here's another one. I'm working on some creatures for a book that is coming out this year and there are some leftover concepts I still want to experiment with. One of them was doing some multilayered effects like feathers and scales in a relatively 'simple' way. This model is the result of that. Hope you all figure out how to fold the feet.
And as usual it's another single-piece model of course :)
